Franklin Rodeo Days

Our family has been anxiously awaiting the Franklin Rodeo days to come! And now they are here! Yipppeee!  The first event was the parade last saturday.  We made sure to get there early so we could park in the multi story car park...my favorite spot for parking during events because of the elevator and short distance to actually have to walk.  The parade was in true small town fashion, with little local floats (the biggest was from the bail bond company lol), cowboys and bands.  The girls loved it!

We then went to the family night at the fair grounds.  It was pouring rain which made getting to the event difficult.  But once their, the girls had so much fun meeting the cowboys, petting the horses, and seeing the livestock.  I even had a chance to do some line dancing = ).  We wanted to make it to the rodeo, but we realised that night that the girls would not be able to handle an evening event, because by 7 they were crying to go to bed!  All in all, the Franklin Rodeo put on a great event that our family will always remember.  We cant wait for next year!
